the first 90 days

Just before Christmas, December 2009, JICC began taking shape online, aimed at web2 activism against world crisis in journalism.

In January 2010, JICC went live here on blogger, faceboook and the development network communications initiative.

Best response so far comes from group space on DevNet. As JICC nears the first 90 days on 30 March 2010, there are some 168 registered members.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Taking on something like a world crisis is daunting.

JICC is still very much in the early stages of building membership, and concerns behind this cause are not going away anytime soon.

For now, joining JICC on Facebook, or at DevNet is enough to attract attention and build interest.
